Introducing Viva Callecita!
Thanks to generous funding from Council District 3, we’re excited to bring you Viva Callecita, a smaller-scale open streets event inspired by Viva CalleSJ.
Viva Callecita will feature a shorter route while offering the same opportunity to walk, bike, roll, play, and connect with the community on streets free of cars.
Same spirit. Same fun. A smaller route. Viva Callecita! More details coming soon.

A Decade of Open Streets
Inspired by a global movement, Viva CalleSJ brought the spirit of
open streets to San José. Transforming our city, one route at a
time. For 10 years, we’ve turned streets into places of
connection, celebration, and community. See where it began and how
far we’ve come together.
